Live Publishing - Yalla Riso - Arbroath Festival

2020+1 Programme

Live Publishing – Yalla Riso

Over the time of the New Scriptorium being in place at the Arbroath Abbey there have been some incredible artists, poets and storytellers in residence.

At this Live Publishing Event we will create a foldable newspaper that will bring together this amazing work. There will be room for freedom of expression whilst also learning how Riso works!

We have 2 time slots available 10-12 or 2-4 and there are only 6 spaces available. This is a free event so if you fancy it, get booked in!

Yalla Riso is a Dundee based printer who does a wide range of works. They will bring the printer through to the stunning Abbey setting in the Scriptorium and show how versatile a printer it is.

No experience nessesary, you will have a beautiful artwork to take home on the day and will help to celebrate the amazing work that has been created in the New Scriptorium.

This event and all the activities at the Scriptorium are made possible with the support of the Arbroath 2020+ committee, Creative Scotland and National Lottery Heritage Fund and the on ground support of Historic Environment Scotland.
