2020+1 Programme / A Kist of Scots Virtual Book Launch

A Kist of Scots

As part of Abroath2020+1 celebrations Angus Writers Circle new publication will launch in April 2021. An anthology of creative writing for 2020+1 ‘A Kist of Scots’ explores our feelings about Scotland through prose and poetry. The writers group has engaged with a wide variety of writers and has encourage and supported new works reflecting on thoughts about Scotland and what this wonderful country means us.

A planned programme of reading and discussions throughout Angus will take place online and in a wide range of venues when restrictions allow.

The anthology project has given new writers the opportunity of being published as well as allowing members to become more familiar with the curating, editing and production processes involved in a project of this nature and scale. All members will have a contribution to make to the collation of the book. Brining significant impact on the individual members of the group and the organisation as a whole.
