Are you able to offer support through volunteering?
There are a range of activity you can Support Arbroath2020+1 through volunteering as a member of the organising committee, stewarding or as a runner for production. We are looking for people to help with projects and steward events to guiding small groups around the town trail to writing an entry or review on the festival blog. Join A2020+1 Welcome Team
Be part of the A2020+1 Welcome Team. A versatile role, encompassing many different duties that help to welcome visitors to the town and to the Festival, and make sure that everyone has the best time possible while they’re here! You may be asked to support specific activities or exhibitions, or you could be based more generally on site as the first port of call for visitors. You might be pointing people towards a roaming activity; you could be front-of-house at an event, or stewarding a walkabout.
Our volunteers get full training to make sure that they know the festival and their role well before they start. They get an A team 2020+1 t-shirt to wear when working and then to keep after the festival. We make sure they’re fed and watered.
Help the A2020+1 Media Unit
The Media Team play a vital role in telling the world about what Arbroath2020+1 is all about. You must have a strong interest in social media. You’ll be creating and developing content for our social media, with a particular focus on Instagram stories as well as conducting short vox-pop-style interviews with artists and audience members to record the Arbroath2020+1 experience. You will gain skills working on a live project in creating digital content and writing reviews.
