Artists Amy Jones and Scott Hudson from Dundee Print Collective were commissioned by Arbroath2020+1 to create a family of designs for festival flags inspired by the Declaration of Arbroath. The flags will be installed in Arbroath High street for the duration of 2020+1 programme.
Dundee Print Collective are based in Dundee Print Studio, Dundee Contemporary Art. Amy Jones is an artist, curator and Co-Founder of Dundee Print Collective. She studied Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (2010) and is interested in collaborative practices as a way of making, often creating opportunities to explore ideas in dialogue with others.
Scott Hudson co-ordinates Dundee Print Collective and Print Festival Scotland. Scott is a professional print maker at Dundee Contemporary Art, Dundee Print Studio. He has developed a professional career in printmaking and is an avid supporter of Printmaking as an art form in Scotland.
