Many months of creativity, planning and hard work by Arbroath 2020 Committee, our partner organisations and local groups resulted in an exciting and ambitious six-month programme of celebrations.
The 2020 programme was postponed due to the covid-19 crisis, we are now starting the process of consulting with community and reshaping the programme to run safely in the covid-19 world from April 2021. In the meantime we are developing online projects and activity for greater community involvement and will publicise the full programme to take place April-September 2021 this Autumn.
The new structure of the festival will be devised with key projects taking place from April to September 2021 underpinned by a strong community programme.
Arbroath 2020 is supported with funding from Creative Scotland’s Place Partnership Programme, Angus Council and Heritage Lottery Fund.
Arbroath 2020 are working alongside partners and collaborators including Historic Environment Scotland, Hospitalfield Trust, National Records Scotland, Angus Council, Angus Alive and many community groups and volunteers to deliver a safe and memorable programme of activity.
We welcome you to join in with the creating, making and enjoying of Arbroath 2020 + 1.
